Visual Alchemy

Maria Chiara Fagioli

Ye tarried
upon the indigo lips,
steering clear
of sweetish diphthongs.
Servile frameworks
despite the chalk
scratched the onyx hard rock
in polyhedral reminiscences,
the honey of our promises
aroused the jasmines spectators.

Take me away
alongside what we were,
from stem to stern
I’ll offer you
the polar lights
between the eternal glaciers
and tender bright Ways
of billion light-years.

Delicious love conserve
in a casket
with vibrant crucial notes.
